CASE 90 (August 2013)

Clinical information

A 21-year-old primiparous woman presents fetal death at 23 weeks of gestation, without any apparent previous alteration. Normal prenatal control. No hypertension. No alterations in gestational blood tests. Prior blood count (one month before) was normal. No systemic symptoms, no fever, headache, nausea or vomiting.

Labor is induced and fetal autopsy is performed.
