CASE 56 (October 2010)
Clinical information
The patient is a 40-year-old woman with
unknowed cause of end-stage renal disease. She started hemodialysis and
was cadaveric kidney transplanted after 4 months in waiting list. Cold
ischemia time: 17 hours. Mismatches: 5, they shared only a DR.
She presented delayed graft function
and oliguria: 500 mL/day. She had not systemic symptoms; there was not
fever.
A renal biopsy was undertaken on the
6th post-transplantation day.
